The purpose of this document is to explain how you can use “markdown” to apply basic formatting to the description content of your videos or photos.
Markdown is a simple way to annotate text that translates to simple HTML formatted elements.
For example, in the markdown language, if you enter “**bold**”, that would be transformed visually to “bold”.
Below is a table of markdown syntax that you can use to format your text. Keep in mind that with markdown, you can create new lines or spaces that translate to HTML, so if you have multiple paragraphs of text with empty lines in between each paragraph that will be translated as such, via markdown.
