Shopify App: How to install a PDP widget

Installing a widget is easy.

1. In the Creatable dashboard, navigate to the Site > Widgets section.

2. Choose the widget template you wish to install - either Engage or Inspire and click Add widget.
3. Give your widget a name, for example "Product page". Click Create.

Next we will configure the widget for the product page.

1. Inside the widget customization, click the Content tab.

2. Under the Attributes filter, click Add attribute.
3. From the dropdown, select SKU.
4. Check box for Use real time input.
5. In the upper right click Publish.
6. Once publishing has completed, click Copy widget ID. This is the ID that you will paste into your Shopify theme to link the widget.

In the Shopify admin dashboard, we're going to add the Creatable widget using the app extension.

1. Click Online Store to customize your theme.

2. Click Edit Theme to begin editing your theme.

3. Navigate the catalog to the sample product "The 3p Fulfilled Snowboard".
4. Under the Template area, click Add section.
5. Choose Apps.
6. Choose the Creatable app.
7. Click on the Creatable Widget section to finish the widget setup in Shopify.
8. In the section's details, paste the Widget ID that we copied earlier.
9. Click Save.

Congratulations, the product page widget is now installed on your product page!
